28th Annual USO Style Hangar Dance

Saturday, September 14, 2024
The 28th annual USO style hangar dance was held in Hangar B September 14, 2024 at the Fairfield County Airport in Lancaster, Ohio (see photos).  The event this year was dedicated to Donald A. Bell who passed away April 1, 2024 peacefully at home.  Don was a long-time member and Curator of the Historical Aircraft Squadron Museum. He also served in the U S Air Force and was one of the founders of the annual hangar dance.

Entertainment was provided by the 18-piece big show band the Nostalgics under the direction of Dr. Charles Hildreth. Prior to the dance, introductory dance lessons were provided by well-known instructor Robert Moses. Food for the evening was provided through the services of the Columbus Corporate Caterers.

A special tribute of the evening was the recognition of all the veterans present who served as members of our armed Forces.
